Supporting Local Colorado Businesses

Posted on April 26, 2022

Spending more time at home doesn't mean you can't still shop local. Here are some of our ideas for how we can all help to care for our community businesses.

  • Gift and Give - We could all use a reason to smile. Electronic funds are safe, convenient, and available all over no matter where you live or how long you've been stuck there. Break out of your "new normal" and treat yourself, or someone else, with a gift card for your local brewery or restaurant. We're doing the same to give back to local businesses and our members.
  • Order Online - Your favorite meals are still only one click away. Keep in touch with your favorite shops too as even retailers are changing they way they do business. Many local businesses have accommodations in place such as "no touch" or text delivery to facilitate drop-off and pick-up options. For food delivery, make sure you still wash your hands before and after touching containers. Also, discard the original packaging and use your own container for serving and storage.
  • Social Support - Though we still may not be able to visit all our favorite businesses for an in-person visit, we can still show our patronage by liking, reviewing, and interacting with them online. Sharing a photo of you and your local grub is a way of sharing your support for the businesses that make Colorado the place we love to call home.
  • Share With Us - As a special THANK YOU to our incredible members and the business we love, all summer long we will be giving out $25 gift cards from our favorite local breweries and restaurants to a total of 80 lucky members. Join us on Facebook as we continue this journey of giving back to our community and share your photos, videos, and stories of how you are giving back as well!
