Scholarship Details:
Eligibility:
- Open to On Tap Credit Union members.
- Exceptional students graduating high school or currently enrolled in post-secondary educational programs who showcase academic excellence and a commitment to advocacy.
Award Amount:
- Two scholarships for $2,000 each will be granted to deserving recipients.
Application Deadline:
- All applications must be submitted by Monday, May 6th, 2024, at midnight.
Announcement of Winners:
- The scholarship recipients will be announced during the week of May 20th by email.
How to Apply:
To be considered for this scholarship opportunity, applicants must complete the online application form and attach the following documents:
- Essay or Video Submission:
- Essay: Submit a written essay of 1,000 words or less. Tell us what advocacy means to you, and give examples of how you’ve advocated for others to make a difference in their lives or the community.
- Video: Alternatively, you can submit a video presentation of 3 minutes or less conveying the same message.
- Letter of Recommendation:
- Include a letter of recommendation from a teacher, mentor, or community leader who can speak to your character and achievements.
- Academic Documentation:
- Provide a copy of your most recent high school or college transcript.
- Proof of Enrollment:
- Include a notice of acceptance or enrollment in post-secondary education.
